With all the different names used for kids clothing, do you get confused?
Well, I do and that is why I'm writing this article today. What I have known as leggings are also called footless tights for girls, toddlers and baby. Now we have a new fashion fad with jeggings that I thought were called jean or denim leggings. Which by the way is a really cool name for fun clothing or golly is it skinny pants? I love made up names that add extra fizz to liven up anything! Our family makes up names for each other and our belongings all the time. Needless to say we have a great time with words. Now let us get back to our name game discussion about children's clothes.
When it comes to girls footless tights, leggings run a very close similarity. They both have an elastic waist and are made with soft and stretchy material. Microfiber is the fabric of choice for The Bon Bon Cupcake Leggings with the ruffles at the bottom while other tights can be made with cotton, nylon and spandex. Many styles of these footless tights come with polka dots, stripes, solid colors, lace, patterned leggings and rhinestones for any preferred fashion style. You can find sizes to fit your baby, toddler, children up to teens or juniors.
Jeggings for girls jeans and kids is a super fad right now. You might be wondering how to wear them and where is the best place to buy? Keep reading and I'll give some good ideas on their differences and how to wear those jean and denim leggings that are now called jeggings.
You can get them in the normal jean length or Capri pants length. Jeggings look like worn jeans but feel like comfy leggings. Some are made of 90% Polyester, 10% Spandex which make them stretchy but sturdy. They come in several sizes and I have noticed them in Blue, Black and Gray colors. How to wear fashion jeggings for girls, kids and juniors? Tunic tops, tunic dresses, sweaters, long shirts, a short dress, or fun skirts are a great start, but go with what your heart tells you.
Let your inner Diva take you far when it comes to expressing with your dressing!
Just when I thought I had it mostly figured out, there had been more confusion added to the names we use for our children's clothes. The latest is newborn, infant, babies, toddler, boys and girls leg warmers getting referred to as footless tights and leggings. In order to be in the tights category I feel they need to cover the bum like jeggings but who am I to say. When it comes down to my thoughts on this subject, I think they all come in great styles, colors and can be worn in much the same way, covered bum bum or not.
